Reader For Hire

Anybody want to pay me to read and write an 800-word evaluation of an unpublished manuscript? The Publishing Contrarian says a professional reviewer will do it for $300, but I can be easily bought for $200 (negotiable). Despite being cheap-to-hire, I am always brutally honest. When I read crap, I say it's crap.

Thanks for linking up to my latest post in The Publishing Contrarian.

May you make a fortune writing brutally honest assessments of manuscripts! Your services are needed! The more brutal the better.

Lynne AKA The Wicked Witch of Publishing

how a bout for a free book delivered to your door.

Lynne, thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. Thank you also for writing out loud what many of us have wanted to tell author wannabes. "Hire an evaluator" is excellent advice.

David, free books I got. A whole sorry pile of them. My car needs new shocks, and I'm looking to get paid. I read a new book every two or three days anyway, so why not offer my special brand of evaluative services to the unpublished throngs?

But, I will let you in on a little secret. Our repertoire here will soon add a unique form of book reviews, including all the brutal honesty mentioned above.

Hmm, I wonder what that Bookblog's repertoire bring to the site...I'm very curious.

Anyway, I'll get the word out in case I hear of anyone who needs an evaluator. ;-)

Ana, although our discussions take deep looks at a handful of books, I've always wanted to add reviews in order to cover more titles. The review copy pile here has been getting bigger and bigger, so it's about time I did something with it.

If you have any friends who need a copyeditor for their papers, I'm also willing to help them out. For a fee. ;)

haha, copyeditor for papers, that sounds like a great offer!

i'll send the word around ;-)
